Zor. Hem de çok zor. Yokuş bitmiyor, hava inceliyor, düşünceler ağırlaşıyor. Ama garip bir şekilde, ben bu zorluğu seviyorum. Çünkü her adımda içimdeki sınırları zorluyorum. Rakım yükseldikçe oksijen azalıyor ama ruhum genişliyor sanki. Bu spor değil sadece, bu benliğimi yeniden keşfetmek.
Ayaklarım taşlara çarptığında canım yanıyor. Ama o an anlıyorum ki; doğa bana zarar vermiyor. Aksine beni eğitiyor, sadeleştiriyor. Fazlalıkları atıyorum. Korkularımı, şikâyetlerimi, o bana ağırlık yapan her şeyi. Sadece ben kalıyorum. Gerçek ben.
Zirveye vardığımda rüzgâr başka esiyor. Zaman sanki yavaşlıyor. Gökyüzüne bir adım daha yakın olmak, tarif edemeyeceğim bir his bırakıyor içimde. Ne madalya, ne bitiş çizgisi... Asıl ödül, oraya yalnızca kendi emeğimle varmış olmak.
Sky running bana göre bir tür dua. Koşarken yalnızım, ama kendime hiç bu kadar yakın hissetmemiştim. Her adımda “yapabilirim” diyorum. Ve sonunda gerçekten inanıyorum: Yapabildim.

The bottom line is that if a solution exists, I’ve probably already built it or bought it — and if I haven’t yet, I will for your project. I’m happy to shoulder 90% of the cost with tools, lists, licenses, and tech I already own.
